A check or cash
- Go to Members and open the member.
- Under Record a payment, type the amount and choose how they paid.
- Check the dates it covers and add the check number.
- Leave Email them a receipt ticked.
It counts the moment you save it, and their reminders stop. A check with no number is flagged on your reports, because an accountant will ask about it.
At a meeting or an event, door mode takes dues at the door from any phone and gives you an end of night tally.
Venmo, PayPal, Cash App and Zelle
Add your club's own handles, and each member sees them as buttons on their Payments page. The member pays the club in that app, then taps Tell the club. The money never passes through renuzy.
When a member says they paid
Their claim waits for you under Needs you on Members. Check your bank or your post, then approve it and it is recorded as if you had typed it in, or decline it with a reason. Nothing counts until you approve it.
A month of payments at once
Upload the file your Venmo, PayPal or bank account gives you, and renuzy suggests who each payment is from. Nothing is recorded until you choose. Zelle payments show up in your bank's file, and a file uploaded twice adds nothing.
Questions
Can a member send a photo of their check?
Yes. A member who paid by check can tell you from their page, with a photo of the check if they like.
What if a payment bounces?
It is marked as returned without wiping the member's history, and the member moves to their grace period.
